This bloke said he was from EE and kept ringing me nonstop, wouldn't stop pestering at all.

This morning, a bloke rang me saying he was from Sky Broadband. Then later in the afternoon, a woman called, also saying she was with Sky Broadband. I just cut off the call with the guy first thing. When the woman called back, I asked if they'd sorted the issue they supposedly called about earlier, but she suddenly went quiet and hung up. Both calls came from hidden numbers.

I let it ring and drop to voicemail, then it just cut off. Definitely a scam, avoid!

They ring me a couple of times daily, from first thing in the morning right through to the evening. If I don’t recognise the number, I just don’t pick up, and I’ve got an answerphone anyway so they can leave a message.

Got a really aggressive bloke from Asia calling me, sounded like some sort of trickster. Honestly, just hang up on him or put him on hold. It’s baffling that no one’s taking action to deal with these people who just waste everyone’s time!

I got a couple of calls yesterday within an hour from someone with an Indian accent. When I asked him to show who he was representing, he got a bit defensive. The second time he phoned, I mentioned I was recording the conversation, and he answered with a rude swear word. Honestly, with this kind of proof, why aren’t they just shut down?

Today this number called me twice. The first time it was a bloke with an Indian accent; I straight up told him I knew it was a scam and he just ended the call. Later on, a woman with an Asian accent got on the line claiming I worked at Microsoft and called me a liar. I told her nicely to buzz off and she hung up. Pretty funny actually!

They seriously wouldn’t take no for an answer, got all pushy and loud. Hasn’t anyone bothered to contact Microsoft and sort this out?

Got a call from this number earlier, some woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Microsoft and that my PC was under threat from hackers. It felt pretty dodgy and unprofessional, so I just ended the call. They rang a couple more times afterwards, but I chose not to pick up. Might be legit, but I’m not willing to take that chance.

Got a call from 01334472270, some guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer had issues. I told him there’s no way he’s from Microsoft and asked how he’s so sure. He still tried to convince me to let him check my pc. I said my daughter's an IT expert and the computer is fine. Then he just ended the call. Microsoft would never ring you up like that.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft. I played along and said I’m the lead in cyber security, but he didn’t seem bothered at all. When I called him a scammer, he denied it and even threatened to mess up my computer. I told him I was tracking his location and would catch him, then he just abruptly ended the call.

this number just rang me up from a man with an indian accent. he said he was calling from microsoft, said my computer was full of viruses and asked me to turn it on so he could fix it. i was certain it was a scam but let him ramble on for a bit to waste his time. when i told him i'd deal with it later he snapped back with 'your son won't be able to fix it, sexist or what.' he actually knew my name before calling which made it sound legit enough to fool some folks.
