If it’s about PPI, there’s no need for calls - you can just grab the form from the official government site and handle it yourself without giving any cash to these cheats.

PPI call from someone who obviously had no clue about me. It was a Scottish number but the woman had a Chinese accent. I asked if she needed my full bank info to deal with the claim and she said no, she didn’t require anything like that. Since they clearly didn’t have any details on me, I wondered if what she was doing was even useful, and as soon as I asked who their company was, she just hung up. Proper rude and really frustrating!

Got a call today 09/09/2026 - some guy claiming I’m due thousands for PPI. They rang me on my work phone and even though I told them I never took out any PPI, he kept pushing hard. Said he’d post me some info. Used an address I haven’t lived at for almost a year, so clearly no proper checks done. Didn’t take no for an answer at all - I had to completely insist they delete my details from their systems. Eventually, had to end the call myself. Very dodgy!
