9 yearsI got a call from some accident advice service about a recent crash i was involved in. i asked them for their company name and contact details. a bloke with a strong accent told me their number was 01616803695, but when i checked with 1471, the number was different. he kept pushing his spiel, even after i told him making unsolicited calls is against the law, which seemed to annoy him. he kept saying he was just trying to help me out! when i questioned where he got my number, he claimed it was given to him by my insurance provider.9 yearsI answered and all I could hear was silence, then suddenly three hellos with a British accent. I didn’t say a word and they just ended the call.9 yearsGot a call from a guy called Tom, he had an Indian accent and was asking about some accident I supposedly got in. It felt familiar, like the exact same chat I had before, just he was ringing from a different phone number now.Tom9 yearsI picked up and heard breathing but no words at all. I kept the phone to my ear for nearly 45 seconds before they finally ended the call.
