Yet another robocall has come through!

Scam alert! I received a dodgy call claiming to be from Visa Security, stating they'd detected some suspicious transactions on my account-£300 from Amazon and a whopping £1000 from Western Union! They instructed me to press 1 to connect with their security team. It definitely raised a red flag!

Got a call from 01333421539 yesterday. Answered but it just went to voicemail and there was no message at all. We don't recognise the number, so it's blocked now.

I called earlier today, but it just went straight to voicemail. I didn’t bother leaving a message.

They never said who they were, just rattled off something about two charges, one for £300 and another over a grand on my card!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Visa Security. They kept bringing up Amazon and Western Union, just like the other stories I’ve read. Sounds fishy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon and talking about Visa, obviously a scam. It's ridiculous that BT lets these crooks use their service, but I guess they make a lot of cash from it. Shameful really, just lining their pockets.

Got a call supposedly from Visa's Security team saying there were charges of £1000 from Western Union and £300 from Amazon on my card. They asked me to press 1 to speak with their security department. Yeah, like I'd fall for that, total joke!

I received a call on my home phone, didn’t answer properly when they said hello at first. I had to shout hello again before some recorded message said something about money being taken from my account. I replied with, “Oh, I’ll check that immediately, thanks a lot,” and then I hung up quickly. So irritating!

I answered but there was no one on the other end. The number didn’t ring any bells though. Probably one of those calls about my visa card being used or something, which is just daft since I don’t even own a visa card.

I keep getting loads of messages while I’m out, all saying there’s thousands missing from my account. If only I had that kinda money in there!

Got another one of those recorded calls about a VISA scam again.

Just like others have said, this is one of those Visa card scam calls. Best thing to do is just hang up and block the number straightaway.

Got an automated robocall pretending to be from some Bank Security folks. They were trying that old trick about a bogus Amazon charge and some overseas money moving nonsense. Classic scam stuff.

Got a robocall again, this time saying there’s been some mistake with my card and asking me to hit 1 to sort it out. So annoying!

I picked up but the caller didn’t say anything or leave a message.

Got a call saying it was from my bank’s security, but it was one of those robotic messages listing exact amounts - total giveaway it was auto-generated. When I finally got through, some woman said she was from 'VISA' security, but honestly, I didn’t bother with the rest. Banks don’t ring you like that, it’s always a scam if the call comes in that way. The easiest thing? Just put the phone down if they don’t use your real name - they’re fakes!

Got a call but no voicemail or anything, must be some scammers just trying their luck?

Got a call saying 'Charge on your Visa', just ended it straight away and blocked the number.

Got a call on this number, it was that usual script about £300 charged to the card for Amazon, then a grand sent through Western Union. They told me to hit 1 to speak to a security officer. I didn’t hang about and blocked the number straight away.
