The caller keeps pushing some insurance for a washing machine they don’t even own. They’re hassling my dad to give out his full name, address, date of birth and all sorts. Got a call about my washing machine saying the warranty was about to end today. The person on the line then said they had no record of when I actually purchased it, so how could they possibly tell me the warranty expiry? Total scam, be careful!

A bloke named Reece rang me, said he was from PTI and that my washing machine insurance needed sorting. I told him straight away it was dodgy and hung up on him.
