Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent, was talking about my phone contract or something, then just cut me off! What’s the point of ringing if you’re just gonna hang up? Don’t see what they’re hoping to achieve with that. And nope, not bothering to ring them back either.

Got a call from a guy with an accent, sounded like he was working in some call centre or something. He said he was ringing from Virgin about some weird activity on my phone and internet line. Problem is, I'm not even a Virgin customer!! The day before that, I got another call from a different number but it was a robot voice saying it was from BT. Definitely scammers trying their luck.

Got a call from a bloke with a northern accent, said it was some kind of government-backed energy efficiency survey. I told him no thanks and ended the call straight away.

There was a pause before they picked up, and I could hear a lot of noise like a call centre in the background. Then the person asked if I was Mrs. Bames? When I told them no, they just ended the call straight away. Classic telemarketer stuff.

I could hear loads of background noise like from a call centre, then the computer seemed to dial the number. As soon as I picked up, they just cut the call.

Answered the phone, but there was complete silence on the other end. Seems a bit dodgy, to be honest.
