Beware of this dodgy number! It's definitely not one belonging to HM Revenue and Customs. I received a pre-recorded message urging me to hit button 1 immediately to dodge "more serious legal repercussions" or some such nonsense. Don't fall for it!

I got a call saying I had to book an appointment about some dodgy tax claim.

Got a voicemail from 01332549397, they said HMRC found me guilty of some dodgy tax claim. They warned if I didn’t hit 1 to call back, they’d send a warrant to arrest me. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call warning me about some supposed tax fraud and that I’d better respond or I’d get arrested. Didn’t say a word back, and the call just cut off. This kind of thing would really scare folks who aren't expecting it. Absolutely rotten!
