I asked the bloke if Id ever had any contact with his company before. He said no. Then I mentioned that my number’s actually registered with the TPS. He suddenly got really polite and said hed take me off their list. I thanked him, told him to have a good day and ended the call.

It seems that Everlast has been purchasing personal information, including individuals' address details, from Tesco's in-store opticians, Vision Express. I’ve come across some insider info suggesting that when you share your phone number with Tesco for their products or at Vision Express, they end up selling your information to cash in on it. Quite concerning, isn’t it?

I received a call on my mobile, and out of curiosity, I picked up since the number looked familiar to my locale. However, I'm completely baffled as to how they obtained my contact details! It turned out to be Everlast, inquiring whether I'd had any loft insulation installed, specifically asking if it was fibreglass. When I didn’t respond to their probing questions, they abruptly ended the call. I’ve since blocked their number!
