Someone calling from this number said they were from a 'Hearing Clinic'. I kept asking them repeatedly, "Who is this?" "What do you want?" and "Who are you?", and eventually they gave up and ended the call. By the way, my number’s ex-directory.

Got a call from The Hearing Centre asking all sorts of health questions like if I’d ever been exposed to asbestos or stuff like that. They must have got my number from some dodgy database because they knew my name even though I’m ex-directory! Not sure if The Hearing Centre themselves are scammers, but whoever sold them the numbers is definitely up to no good and should be caught and punished for helping spread nuisance calls.

They called asking for my little lad. I said I’m on the TPS register and they just brushed it off saying it doesn’t cover them since they’re not making a sale. Bit of a laugh, really - why else ring then? Honestly, TPS is a joke... even my 18 month old granddaughter could handle it better.

I got a call from a Hearing Clinic, and they straight up said the TPS doesn't count for them since they’re supposedly not selling anything. They were pretty pushy and not at all polite about it. You can reach them by phone from 11 in the morning until 8 in the evening.

The Hearing Clinic called me and straight away the woman was pretty upfront, saying I might be entitled to compensation for hearing damage caused by noisy work conditions. Thing is, my hearing's actually quite good (my missus might say otherwise, but that’s down to selective hearing!) and I’ve never had a job in a loud place. She then told me I couldn't hang up or complain because apparently it wasn’t cold calling, and we could go back and forth forever. I told her to buzz off and ended the call.
