Got a call from a voice with an American accent warning my BT broadband was about to be cut off. Bit odd since I’m actually with EE. Then they told me to press one - classic scam alert. Best to ignore and block the number straight away.

I just got a call from someone with an American accent telling me my internet was about to be cut off today. They said to press 1 to reach BT support, but when I tried calling back the number, it turned out to be invalid. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

I’d say just block that number, it doesn’t seem legit at all.
