2 yearsI got a call from this number, and the bloke on the other end said his name was David and that he worked for BT. The thing is, the number didn’t match any official BT contact I know of. He told me my internet IP had shifted from private to public, meaning anyone could get at it. Pretty sure he was angling to flog me some sort of ‘security package’. I quickly told him I didn’t believe he was actually from BT. Right after that, his voice went a bit off, like he was losing patience 'cause I wasn’t playing along.
