I got a ring from this number claiming to be from BT internet. They said there were some dodgy users on my router and asked me to log onto my computer to check it out. It didn’t feel right, so I just hung up.

SCAM ALERT. Had a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming I was owed £149 back for an appliance I supposedly overpaid for. She kept pushing me to give my card info to "verify" my identity. She even mentioned my full address and postcode, saying she’d post a letter the next day. I told her I’d wait for the letter and definitely wasn’t handing over any card details. Still, she refused to back down and kept asking right until I hung up. Been getting several calls like this from different numbers lately. Best to steer clear of these.
