Got a call from someone saying, "Hello, this is Shirley from your internet service provider." and then they just suddenly ended the call. Very odd.

Lately, I’ve been getting loads of calls from this number, usually claiming there’s some issue with our internet or computer. They keep telling me the internet will be cut off or that my computer has a problem. I just hang up straight away but it’s starting to feel really annoying.

This morning around 10:25, I got a call supposedly from ‘my internet provider’. It was an automated message by a woman with a distinctly American accent, saying my IP address had been hacked and my internet would be cut off. They expected me to freak out and call back, but no thanks! This sort of thing isn’t new, though they keep swapping the number they’re calling from. Just a heads up to stay cautious.
