the bloke was trying to peddle some life insurance i reckon, but his accent was so thick i could barely catch what he said. every time I tried to get a word in, he just kept cutting me off. in the end, I just hung up and blocked the number.

the caller said something like "alliance insurance" but i could tell right away they weren’t from the UK. this was actually the 15th call this week, and the 12th about life insurance! i told them straight up i already have the best life insurance you can get, through Jesus Christ, but they just kept trying to push “other options.” honestly, it’s like trying to talk to a brick wall. my advice? just don’t pick up.
