I get calls from this number, 013322647042, pretty much daily. Whenever I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end. It’s really annoying and honestly, I think they ought to face some kind of punishment for these irritating nuisance calls.

Got some really rude calls, told them to leave me alone and they started swearing at me.

Got a call from this number and the bloke didn’t waste any time. He knew my name and told me they could clear up to 70% of my debt. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

They keep ringing me up but always asking for a different person (apparently this person’s been turned down for credit and they’re trying to explain why). I told them they must have the wrong number and the woman on the phone was really nice and said she’d get IT to remove my number from their list. Not sure if that’ll actually happen though, but she was polite and seemed genuine. Looks like the person who applied for credit accidentally put my number down instead :( I've had around 15 calls about her in just three days. That’s way more than I get for myself!

My answerphone picked up a really strange message from this number 01332647042. The caller just kept breathing really loudly and it went on for about three whole minutes without a single word. Pretty creepy if you ask me!

Got a call from some debt relief firm claiming they could sort my debts, but I don’t owe a penny! They refused to give me a proper company address or explain how they found my number. I told them loads of times to stop ringing and take me off their list since this is my work phone. I’m with the NHS and those calls could be stopping important ones getting through. In the end, I blocked the number on my phone but they just keep leaving loads of voicemails - some with weird laughing, others with bad language and even threats because I blocked them. The police are involved now.

Got a call today from someone with a Scottish accent claiming to be from PS Services. They told me that a £1000 loan had been taken out in my name. I asked them for all the info they had, but didn’t share anything back. They suggested I check my credit report. When they said the service was free, I was a bit blunt and asked how they actually make money. They replied that they get paid a salary like everyone else, which sounded dodgy. I was at work and a colleague shouted something to me, so I responded loudly, and the caller thought I was talking to them. I quickly explained I was at work and someone had just spoke to me. Then they hurried to end the call with a “have a nice day.” Definitely felt fishy to me. - caller said they were PS Services working for TSLI!!!

Caller said his name was Michael and claimed to work for Personal Sovency Services in Glasgow, giving the number 0141 565 1418, but it just went to voicemail. When I traced the call, it showed as coming from 01332 647042. I let him chat for a bit, and eventually he admitted they probably couldn’t assist me. I then said I’d been messing with him and told him to find a proper job. He just laughed and said, “Why would I bother? I’m earning loads doing this.” Quite a laugh!

pps - that’s how he introduced himself. - a really abrupt, bossy bloke with a thick scottish accent that was hard to catch, so i hung up. he rang straight back and started yelling at me, saying i ought to have paid attention and asking if i knew he was calling from a government number that was being recorded. i ended the call again. so impolite and intimidating. this could easily have scared an elderly or vulnerable individual. truly awful! it shouldn’t be permitted. disgusting behaviour. they should feel ashamed.

I got a call from someone saying they were from debt management. This man on the phone told me I owed a credit bill of about £12,000. I tried to explain myself, but all he wanted was my bank details - sort code, account number, and even my credit card info, including the three-digit security code. I told him over and over that there was no way I’d give him any of that information. After that, he suddenly got really nasty. He started calling me awful names like “bitch” and worse - it was so shocking he kept swearing at me. I ended up in tears. Then he said I should “stop f***ing around” and give him those bank details immediately. Just then, my daughter came in from her friend’s house and took the phone away. She asked him what he thought he was doing. His reply was absolutely disgusting - he called her a “little English slut” and threatened he’d come to our house here in England, take her head, breasts, and other bits off, and hang them on the wall back in India. It was horrific. I told my daughter to hang up, and I contacted the police straight away. They took statements from both of us and said the call was really disturbing, especially given how he talked to a 13-year-old. The officers promised they’d do their best to track this guy down and arrest him. My daughter is terrified and won’t leave the house because she genuinely believes this man might come after her. Their numbers are: 0800 043 1431 for Customer Service 0141 565 1313 for the IT Department If you ask for Nancy Reid or Pearse Flynn, those are the two directors. Nancy's address is 6a Spiers Grove, Thornliebank, Glasgow, G46 7RL, and her phone number is 0141 621 0745. She appears to have a son called Matthew. Pearse Flynn doesn’t seem to have his home address publicly listed. - caller: PSS

Proper annoying! For the past few weeks I’ve been bombarded with calls and texts from some lot signing up a number broker or something, according to one of the companies that keep ringing. They’ve obviously handed out my number by mistake. This number is apparently being spoofed by a company called Personal Solvency Services, which trades under Creditfix, based at 4 West Regent Street, 3rd Floor, Glasgow, City of Glasgow G2 1RW (0141 565 1417). One of the people they say is a supervisor goes by the name Samantha ADAIR. Their official address is CREDITFIX LIMITED, UNIT 50 CARLISLE ENTERPRISE CENTRE, JAMES STREET, CARLISLE, CA2 5BB, company number 09064269. The directors listed are Mr Pearse Flynn and Ms Nancy Reid. They insisted my phone number was legitimately handed to them as part of some “financial application,” but that’s not true at all since the number actually belongs to my workplace! I’m currently preparing a formal complaint to the FCA and the Data Protection Registrar over this. - caller ID: Personal Solvency Services

I snapped a quick pic of the address on West Regent Street in Glasgow. Plan is to visit the place in person and demand they take me off their list, just like someone else mentioned before. My name is Ann...” or something like that, but still not clear. I replied, “Wait, your name’s Ann? What was that again, please?” Then out of nowhere she shouted back, “Can I speak to someone who actually speaks English?” Honestly, I’ve never dealt with people this rude and nasty. These clueless foreigners who come here trying to scam honest folks are a joke. If you’re using GiffGaff, here’s a tip: just chat with them, make up a fake name and an address - maybe somewhere near their supposed office in Glasgow. Keep them on the line as long as you can and humour their nonsense. GiffGaff gives you free minutes equal to the call time, so every minute you keep 'em talking counts. Once you've wasted about 20 minutes listening to their rubbish, just say thanks for the free minutes and then hang up and block the number. Problem solved.

Got a call from them about 4 minutes ago on my mobile. No one talked to me so I put them on speaker and just listened in. Felt like they were just trying to waste time and boost their call charges. If you’re not very patient, I’d say just give them a miss. Took them over 12 minutes before they finally ended the call.
