These callers are incredibly bothersome and quite relentless; it's high time action was taken to address this issue.

I received a barrage of calls where the line was silent for the initial five attempts. Eventually, someone got through claiming there was an issue with my BT router - but I don't even use BT! I firmly requested they cease all further communications. It’ll be interesting to see if they rectify their records!

They ring me every day, honestly I'm getting sick of it.

I got a call from 01332625487 earlier, with someone saying they were from my broadband company. When I asked for their name, the lady said BT and mentioned something about a broken internet router. I told her I don’t even have a router and she quickly said sorry and ended the call. It sounded like it was from one of those call centres in India, but the number looked like it was from Derby. This kind of thing really needs to be blocked. This was the second time today I got a call like this. The first one came from a number with my own local code, that's why I picked up.

Scam alert scam alert. They say they’re from BT, saying there’s a problem with my router. Tried to get into my computer. Total scam, stay well clear. Scam scam scam. Avoid avoid.

Ceaselessly calling me - it’s that dodgy router con once again. I’ve stopped picking up the phone altogether.

Don't bother answering calls from these lot. I've just put in a complaint with Which and they’re gonna write to the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) to gather more info and hopefully take action against them.

12th August 2016 - This number rang me multiple times this morning, and during the initial calls, there was nothing but silence. Eventually, they claimed they could provide me with my router number and asked if they could have remote access to my computer! I was put through to some supposed 'senior colleague' who reiterated that he was calling from BT. Trusting my instincts, which suggested something was off, I decided to end the conversation, especially since I hadn't encountered any issues with my service.

Ah, the classic 'Your PC router is toast' ruse... They expect you to head over to www.support.me where they provide a six-digit code to supposedly help them access your computer remotely. While the software itself is above board, it’s certainly being misused for dodgy purposes. Whatever you do, steer clear of downloading anything from them! To be honest, I led them on a merry dance. I pretended to be as dim-witted as a sack of spuds, which only seemed to bolster their determination as they clearly thought they could con me. After a while, it all just became tiresome. My computer wasn’t even switched on, and I don’t even have BT as my service provider! They are relentless in pestering me with calls, though.

I've been receiving calls from con artists claiming there's a non-existent issue with my computer. It's utterly absurd!

These people keep calling from abroad, using really English-sounding names, saying there's an issue with my windows. I told them my windows are spotless and asked them to kindly stop ringing me, but they just won’t take the hint. Still getting the calls, unfortunately.

I've received four calls from this number today, and each time I answer, all I get is dead air. Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, these nuisances keep getting through. Does anyone know how I can block them for good?

I got a call from the same number again just a few hours later. This time, some bloke with an Asian accent called himself Steven, but I could hardly understand a word he was saying. Claimed he was from BT and there was an issue with my computer. I told him everything was fine and I was already dealing with it. Then he asked if my computer was actually turned on. Like, seriously?!

They keep calling my mum, who’s 72, over and over again. She’s told them she hasn’t got a computer, but they just won’t take the hint. Now she’s getting loads of silent calls after saying that. It’s really annoying.

I've been receiving incessant calls from this number, and I can only surmise it’s some kind of scam aimed at gaining remote access to my computer. It’s rather vexing, especially hearing those relentlessly persistent Asian accents on the other end.

This number keeps calling non-stop, I usually just let it ring but once I picked up and told them to quit calling. Then an Asian woman claimed to be from BT, saying there was a problem with my router. I told her if it's from BT they should send me a letter, but they just keep ringing anyway. Honestly can't get them to leave me alone.

I've received numerous calls from this number, claiming they're from BT and insisting there's an issue with my router that they can supposedly rectify if I grant them access to my computer. To be honest, I was nearly swayed by their story, especially since I've been struggling with my router lately! However, thankfully I had the sense to hang up before handing over any control. They then proceeded to ring me back multiple times, which I must say was rather unsettling!

Got a call today from someone named Daniel claiming to be with my phone company. I asked which one and he said BT, so I just told him straight up, 'Sounds like another scam, no thanks' and hung up. Wonder if they’ll try again.

I've received five calls today! The first one claimed it was regarding my internet service, and when I told them to cease calling, the subsequent ones had nobody on the line when I answered. It’s absolutely maddening!

Every single day they ring me, loads of times daily. They act like they're from "my internet provider". I reckon it’s a scam; probably trying to trick people into letting them put a virus on their computer and then flogging some fake fix. Honestly, these calls should be banned altogether!

Got a call from some bloke with a funny accent muttering about my internet router. He kicked off by asking how I was, so I ended up telling him about my bad back and the migraine I’ve had. I said I couldn’t go near the PC at the moment but appreciated the heads-up and that I’d have my local tech guy look at it. We seem to get calls from 01332 numbers nearly every morning - last week it was "Microsoft," now it’s the router. Is there seriously no way to block these lot?

I get calls all the time from this guy who claims there's a problem with my broadband or router. Whenever I try to question him, he just talks over me, with quite bad English too. It's so annoying! Why are these persistent callers allowed to keep pestering people like this?

They kept ringing me 3 times in quick succession, with just a few minutes between each call. Before that, I had already got 3 calls from a number almost the same just a bit earlier.

I got calls from a number pretty much like this one, like three times back to back with only a few minutes gap. And just before that, I had another set of three calls, again all from numbers that looked nearly the same. Quite annoying really!

Some bloke with an accent called, claiming there was an issue with my router. How would he even know that if I never mentioned it? I played dumb and kept asking what he was talking about. Then some supervisor jumped on the call repeating the same nonsense. When I said I don’t have a computer, he goes, “Then why did you pick up the phone, madam?” I just told him, “Because you called me, ya muppet!” After that, they kept ringing back 3 or 4 times but stayed silent each time I answered. Proper odd behaviour.

Over just three hours, this number rang my phone 11 times. Once my daughter picked up but was met with a very hard to understand foreign voice asking for me. She told them she couldn’t speak English and hung up pretty quick. They’re starting to be a real pain now, making me think about cutting off my landline entirely. I’m honestly so annoyed with these constant calls.
