This number has been calling me a couple of times daily. Every time I pick up, there's just silence. Something like this happened before with a nearby number, and after a while, a woman from Anglia Home Improvements finally answered. When I told her I’d received over 30 calls in just a few weeks, she apologised and said it was probably an automated dialler, so no one’s actually on the other end to chat. They tried to shove loads of products at me, so I asked them to stop calling. Feels like these lot are just the same. They’re super persistent, really gets on my nerves.

I've blocked this number, so when it rings, it just plays that message about being barred from calling me. Still, these idiots manage to ring at least once every day. It's definitely a scam, so best to just ignore and not pick up at all.

They called me loads of times, and a few times I picked up but they just hung up straight away. Eventually I answered properly and the person was asking about a mortgage. I told them we don’t have one. Then they switched to life insurance and I said my husband sorts all that. Next they asked about home insurance, and I mentioned I usually find cheap ones myself. After that, they said they’d update their info and said bye. Could be some company just hunting for the best deals or maybe trying to grab your info, so watch out and don’t rush into sharing personal stuff.

So many times I’ve picked up the phone and it’s someone trying to help me cut costs on my mortgage. They kept saying I’d spoken to a mortgage advisor and asked about home insurance too. I told them my husband usually sorts all that stuff. The caller was quite nice about it and ended by wishing me a good evening.

Why doesn't anyone put a stop to this constant pestering? Surely these folks would be in trouble with the law for something less than this now!
