I received a rather unexpected ring at 1:07pm on the 4th of June, 2020, from the number 01332 560217. On the other end, an automated message claimed to be from the Inland Revenue, stating that I had an outstanding balance to settle. I was instructed to press option 1 to resolve the matter, or else they threatened that a warrant would be issued in my name leading to my arrest. Naturally, I ended the call promptly and attempted to ring them back, but all I got was an annoying series of beeps before the line cut off. By the way, I reside in Hertfordshire.
