The number came from an area code that’s local to me, but I didn’t know who it was. I’m glad I looked it up here online after missing the call.

I got a call supposedly from Derby - I live not far from there and know people in the area. An automated voice warned me my BT service would get cut off soon. That's not true at all, I'm still with BT and everything’s fine with my line. I’ve flagged it as risky so others can be cautious too.

I got a call from this number and the bloke said he was from my internet company. But as soon as I asked him to name the provider, he just ended the call. Weird behaviour!

Just got a call at about 3.40 this arvo. Some bloke with an automated voice, saying they’d cut my internet off if I don’t do something today. Honestly, these people really should try to get proper jobs. Funny, I had another call like this yesterday from a Scottish number. This time it was a Derby area code. They’re obviously everywhere!

Got a call on my landline but it just went straight to auto-answer. Didn’t bother replying or leaving any kind of message. Number was unfamiliar - sounds like just another scam call to me.

I got a call from this number about ten minutes back. Like a bunch of others have said, it was some robotic voice claiming it was a redirected BT call warning that my internet would be disconnected soon. They tried to get me to press 1 or 2 to talk to someone for help but I ignored it since my internet isn’t with BT at all. Put the phone down straight away. Marked it as dodgy since I reckon older folks might get caught out by this and end up getting scammed.

I got a robo call from this number today. It claimed to be from British Telecom, saying they were forwarding a message that my internet was going to be disconnected later. Bit suspicious if you ask me!

It definitely strikes me as a bit dodgy, if I'm honest. They've got the cheek to say my call has been redirected from BT and that my internet's about to get cut off. Honestly, what a load of rubbish!
