1 yearToday I got called twice by this number. Both times the caller, saying his name was 'Jason' and another person with an Indian accent, claimed that O2 was joining up with Virgin and that I'd have to get a new SIM card, which they'd supposedly drop off the next day. It sounded like total nonsense to me. I told them I might just pop into an O2 shop instead and asked the guy to verify my address since he mentioned a delivery. As soon as I did, 'Jason' lost his temper. I ended up blocking the number straight away.JasonVirgin1 yearHonestly, just hang up straight away and don’t waste a single sec on these jokers.1 yearI just got a call saying they're from o2. They told me my network hasn't been working okay and that they’re sending a new SIM because of it. That’s rubbish though, my signal’s been fine. They warned I wouldn’t have any service for like 2 days, and when the new SIM arrives, I just pop it in and everything will be back to normal. Sounds fishy to me.1 yearThey rang me back to back about four times. I looked it up here before picking up. She said she was from O2, but I told her I was sure she wasn’t. She just said ‘right’ and then ended the call.1 yearGot a ring from some Indian call centre claiming to be from O2, asking if I’d had any issues with their service. Told em I don’t even use O2, so no problems at all. Ended it there, blocked the number and reported it straight away.1 yearGot a missed call from this number earlier today, but it hung up right away when I tried to pick up. After checking out some other posts, sounds like it’s a dodgy O2 scam call.1 yearPretty sure that was a phishing attempt.1 yearSome bloke rang me about issues linked to the new O2 and Virgin tie-up. I told him it didn’t concern me, and he was really nice about it, apologising and then ending the call. Wonder what provider they’ll come up with now. I’m sure I’ll just say the same thing to any of them!O2Virgin1 yearGot calls from someone saying they were O2 but asking for my email and insisting it wasn’t personal info.
