Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be HMRC, really aggressive and threatening all the time. They kept changing the amount I supposedly owed, first £1900, then £1800, then £1700. Never gave me any proof they actually knew who I was, just kept pestering me for my bank details. They even warned if I didn’t pay, the police would come to arrest and lock me up. Proper scary stuff. When I asked for more info, they just shouted and then cut me off. Such an awful, abusive experience.
