If you search for that second number online, you’ll find out it’s a dodgy business currently being looked into by the Exeter Police. No official government body would ever ring you up out of the blue offering these kinds of services. Pension products are strictly controlled by the FCA, and anyone giving advice has to be FCA authorised. Just ask them for their FCA registration number (you can double-check it on the FCA website) and I bet they’ll just drop the call.

I’ve been getting calls from this number multiple times a day, usually four or five, even after I’ve said I’m not interested! It’s becoming quite frustrating. I wish they’d just stop.
