Got a voicemail claiming to be from HMRC’s fraud team. They said if I didn’t press 1 to speak to a case officer right away, there’d be a warrant out for my arrest… like, instantly! Definitely sounds like a scam to me. No clue what their endgame is or what exactly happens if you press 1, but I’m guessing it probably connects to a premium rate line or something dodgy like that.
