My mobile rang and the person claimed to be from the Inland Revenue, saying there was some fraud linked to my name. They told me to press 1 or else a warrant would be issued right away. When I looked up this number, there was no name attached to it. I then called the Inland Revenue myself and they confirmed it’s a scam. Apparently, sometimes they want you to press 9 too. So if you ever get a call from this number, don’t press 1 or 9 - it’s definitely a con.
