Got calls from a lady named Ann at JDR Group pretty often. She always wants to speak to the Director, but as soon as she’s waiting to be connected, she just ends the call. My Director has already told her we’re not interested in whatever she’s selling, yet the calls just keep coming. It’s really annoying. Being a small business, we honestly don’t have the time or resources to keep handling these pointless interruptions.

Got a call from someone called Ann at JDR Group, she was asking for a director by their first name like they were pals or something. When I asked what it was about, she just said it was to do with the business but wouldn’t give me any details. Then she said it was about an email I supposedly sent her and wanted to give an update. Honestly, if she was really interested, she’d have replied to the email already. She said she’d send another email and then just hung up on me. Seems like a pushy and secretive lead gen firm to me.

Had a call from JDR Group today, proper pushy sales lot. They tried to say they needed to reschedule a meeting with one of our seniors, said they'd look into the diary and get back to us. Then, bang - they just cut the line. No way they'll be talking to our top brass if they're gonna start with fibs just to get in.

We’ve signed up for the telephone preference service in hopes of avoiding these nuisance calls. So, what’s the deal? Why are they still bothering us? Honestly, I have no interest in any websites or related services.

We received a call from the number 01332343281. The caller, a woman, was cackling away as soon as she engaged with us, which felt quite rude and unseemly. After a brief chat, she abruptly hung up, only to ring back a mere two seconds later. We made it clear that we had absolutely no interest in what she had to say.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a company attempting to reach a person who has never been a part of our establishment. They requested to speak with our Managing Director, but when I probed about the nature of their inquiry, they flatly refused to divulge any details and persisted in their demand. As I happen to be the MD, I made it clear that I wouldn’t be forwarding the call without some clarification. At that point, they abruptly disconnected the line. Given that we are registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they ought to know better than to hound us for marketing purposes. Quite frankly, I found their approach quite impolite, and it’s astonishing they couldn’t even get the MD’s name correct!
