4 yearsGot a call from someone saying they worked for a car accident repair place, but their claim wasn’t about any damage to my car - they said it was about me being in the vehicle wearing a seatbelt. They asked why I hadn’t accepted a claim or if I even knew about it. Then they wanted to know if I was hurt. It all felt a bit dodgy, so I asked if they’d spoken to my insurance, and she said they’d sort it out immediately before just hanging up on me.4 yearsI got a call saying I was involved in an accident and they told me sorry about the minor injuries to my neck and back. They claimed they’d be sending me £2000 compensation to help with the pain. I had to give them my email address for the 'confirmation', but I never received anything, even after checking all my email folders. Since then, they keep ringing me around three times a day. They mentioned they’d post me a cheque, so apparently they don’t need any bank details. Honestly, I wish these people would stop hassling honest folks and find real jobs instead of scamming hardworking people. On 8th August 2022 alone, I got 4 calls, then 3 on the 9th, 2 on the 10th, and 2 more on the 11th. Can they please just leave me alone?Submit Your Own Report (01332 289935)
