4 yearsI received a call from someone purporting to be from a car accident repair centre, although they were actually inquiring about a claim regarding my car’s seatbelt. They seemed to be nagging me about why I hadn’t responded to this supposed claim or whether I was even aware it existed. They pressed me on whether I’d sustained any injuries. The whole thing felt a bit dodgy, so I asked if they had reached out to my insurance provider. She said they would do so immediately and then abruptly ended the call. Very strange indeed!4 yearsI received a phone call where the caller claimed I’d been involved in an accident. They expressed their sympathy for the so-called minor injuries I had sustained to my neck and back and stated that they would be sending me £2000 as compensation. They requested my email address, supposedly to send the relevant details shortly. However, no email ever arrived, not even in my junk folder! Since then, I keep getting hounded by them, three times a day, no less. They mentioned sending a cheque and insisted they needed my bank details, which makes no sense at all. I genuinely wish these individuals would find legitimate employment instead of trying to scam hardworking folks like us. On August 8th, I received four calls; then three on the 9th, two on the 10th, and another two on the 11th. For goodness' sake, can they just give it a rest?Submit Your Own Report (01332 289935)
