So, I received a call from some Mortgage Advice outfit today.
Honestly, it was completely unsolicited and really unnecessary.
They seemed to be fishing for info, using dodgy data sourced from who knows where, probably from other companies touting for business.
The chap on the line, named James, asked for someone who clearly isn’t me, and claimed he was there to rectify the erroneous details on their records.
By the way, it seems the director is a John Beard based in Derby.

I received a missed call from the number listed above, and when I returned the call, I found myself speaking to a mortgage advisory service. They were quite insistent on obtaining my phone number so that they could offer assistance regarding our mortgage. Oddly enough, they didn't even know who our mortgage was with, which struck me as rather peculiar. The moment they answered, it sounded as if I had inadvertently reached an internal line, and they claimed this call shouldn't have occurred in the first place. Just a heads up - approach this lot with caution!

Annoying and persistent telemarketer has been harassing us on several occasions, trying to push a remortgage deal. Despite our clear indication that we have no interest in remortgaging at this time, they somehow managed to convince us to schedule a meeting for the 19th of January at 3 PM.
