I got a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent and loads of background noise, saying that either me or someone at my place was involved in some dodgy business and that BT was about to cut off my internet and phone. I told her if anything illegal was going on, surely the police would get in touch with me. She just said “Fine, wait for the police then” and slammed the phone down. Funny thing is, I actually work for the police, so she had no clue who she was messing with!
