Got a call not long ago from someone who said his name was Mike Williams. Did not sound like a Mike Williams to me at all, seemed to have an Asian accent and definitely not local. He also mentioned an employee ID, 9685, which I saw another person mention here too. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Received a call a minute ago from someone saying they were with BT. Felt a bit iffy about it straight away. They asked me to ring 01330558672 and speak to a Mike Williams, apparently, but he spoke with quite a strong Asian accent. He also gave me the number 9685. Didn’t bother calling them back though, seemed dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT’s tech team, said if I didn't boost my security, my internet would be cut off within a day. Felt a bit off to me.
