They claimed to be representatives from British Telecom, stating that my data was being improperly accessed and that my broadband service was on the verge of disconnection. Quite frankly, I reckon this is nothing more than a scam, especially since I'm not even a British Telecom customer! I’d advise everyone to be on their guard; these callers might try to trick you into pressing a button that leads to a premium-rate line, or worse, they might lure you into following their dubious instructions on your computer to gain access.
