I received a rather curious call from an individual who claimed to be an energy consultant hailing from Brighton. I got a call from 01132965001 on Friday 5th Feb around 4:20 pm, someone claiming to be from Bournemouth. The guy said he worked for an insulation company and wanted to check my roof insulation because he thought it might be old. He asked for my age and tried to set up a free call to discuss it more. When he said his manager would ring me back in about half an hour, I told him I wasn’t interested and that I didn’t want a callback. I asked for his name and number, but then he just hung up on me.

My phone won’t stop ringing from the same number. I always ignore it, and honestly, if you get a call from them, I’d suggest just don’t answer.

I usually get a call from a stranger like that about once every month or so.

I’m so fed up with these constant calls. I tried blocking the number, but it says it’s invalid and won’t let me. They keep asking for someone I don’t know at all. Does anyone know how I can put an end to this?

Got a call that I didn't answer, didn't recognise the number and wasn't expecting a call anyway. Pretty sure it was one of those spam or sales calls.
