Sounds like this is Vodafone’s nearby office. Expect them to ring you up with offers for new SIM plans or internet deals, just like any other mobile company. If you ask them to stop phoning you, they usually won’t listen. It seems Vodafone’s using these local lines since folks are more likely to answer numbers that look familiar. Only pick up if you really enjoy chatting with sales reps.

Got a call that felt like pure harassment, really annoying!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone. When I asked for a number to return the call, they gave me 191. They were trying to push landline and broadband services on me. Definitely felt dodgy.
