I got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank’s “visa security,” saying there was a foreign transaction for £600. They told me to press 1 to accept or reject, but I pressed 4 instead. The voice on the line sounded Indian or something like that, definitely a call centre. I played along and said to go ahead and approve it, which seemed to throw them off. Then I cheekily told them to go multiply themselves before I hung up. Honestly, just as the England v USA rugby was kicking off! What a pair of low-life scammers!
