I’m based in the Fareham area with the 01329 code and I think someone’s spoofing local numbers to call me. I got two calls recently, one from 01329 238161 and another from 01329 237669. Didn’t pick up the one from 01329 237669 because it rang at 7 in the morning, which seemed odd. But I did answer the other one - 01329 238161 - and it was just a recorded message about some Western Union transfer, which I’ve never made and definitely never will. I cut it off early, it was obvious a scam. Both these numbers are blocked now. I’d suggest others block them too, just to be safe.
