3 yearsI got a call from a local number claiming to be BT saying my internet was acting up. The guy on the phone had a thick Asian accent and it was really hard to make out what he was saying. He asked me to check my broadband speed, so I used an app I'd had for ages to do it. When I told him my download and upload results, he seemed totally lost and ended the call quickly. Not long after, a different local number, 01329 271780, rang me with another rude Asian bloke on the line. I told him BT isn’t my provider and he was clearly trying to scam me.
