Got a call from 01328 884955 about two payments from my bank, but they never said which bank. When I tried calling back, it just said “incorrect number, please check and try again.” The number showed up on "Who Phone Me" as being from Magrathea Telecommunications in Fakenham, but turns out Magrathea isn’t even based there. Pretty sneaky scam, using local numbers to make it seem like someone familiar is ringing. I hung up straight away without saying a word.
