Got a call earlier and reckoned it was a dodgy one, so I picked up just to mess about a bit. This lady with an Indian accent said her name was Jennifer and claimed to be from Citizens Advice. She wanted £100 to clear up some debts I don’t even owe. I had a laugh and told her I’m not daft. Then she snapped back with "you’re an idiot moron" and just disconnected. Proper cheeky!

Just a short while ago, I got a call that I reckon was a scam pretending to be from the NHS, probably aimed at older people. The person speaking had a really thick accent and it sounded like a call from overseas, maybe India. I didn’t bother engaging and thought I’d share this to warn others so they don’t fall for it either. No offence meant, just trying to be helpful.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was with the NHS, asking all sorts about who lives in my house and stuff about the covid jab. Then out of nowhere, he starts quizzin me about life insurance! When I called him out, he just kept saying he was from the NHS, trying to update my info. Total fibber, swear down!!!!

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from the NHS Covid helpline, said she was working out of their main office. When I asked for the address, she couldn’t provide it but surprisingly knew my husband’s name! Then she said it was somewhere in London. Definitely a scam call centre - this kind of thing should be cracked down on! They tried ringing me 4 times earlier too, with a number showing up as Fakenham, Norfolk area.

I've been getting ringed by about 8 separate numbers now, and each time I check them here, they turn out to be some sort of NHS or life insurance scam. They're all calling from different places too. It's seriously starting to annoy me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from the NHS, asking if I had any COVID symptoms and if there were kids under nine in the house. They also wanted to know what medication I was on. Surely if this was really the NHS, they’d already have all that info? When I told them I’d rather ring the NHS myself before answering anything more, they just ended the call. I just got a phone call here in southern Dorset asking about my vaccinations and whether I have my certificate, which I definitely don’t. The dodgy part was when they actually named my doctor during the call. I contacted the surgery straight away, and they had no clue about it. The lady on the other end had a foreign accent and hung up as soon as I said I didn't want the certificate. Proper fishy if you ask me.
