I picked up the call and there was a bit of a pause before a guy suddenly asked me to verify my last name, which he already knew. When I tried to find out who he was, he just hung up straight away. I didn’t hear anyone else or any background noise like you’d expect from a call centre. The bloke spoke clear English, sounded like he had a Midlands accent.
