I’ve been getting these recorded calls saying they’re from Ofcom, warning that my internet will be disconnected because of hacking. They tell me to press <1> to speak to someone, then after a pause, I get connected to an Indian woman who asks for my bank details. Lately, the last handful of these calls have claimed to be from BT, not Ofcom, but they’re still about some internet line I’ve never had. They’re pretty much the same as calls I get supposedly from Visa - press <1>, chat with an Indian lady, and then give out your bank info. Total scam in my opinion.
