Received a call from an unidentified number based in Daventry, but they disconnected as soon as I picked up. Seems a bit dodgy, possibly a scam!

Well, I had a bit of a go at it and asked them whether, if I rang EE to inquire about any potential discounted contracts, they would gladly say yes. To my surprise, he just cut the call without a word!

I received a call from some dodgy character trying to sell me a new mobile plan. They began probing into what make my phone is, as well as the details of my current plan and provider. Once they caught on that I was just toying with them, they got quite foul-mouthed and abruptly ended the call.

I found it rather puzzling, seemed to be an Indian chap on the line, blabbering on about some Samsung phones being given away for free. Ended up blocking the number, it was all a bit dodgy.

I spoke with an Asian gentleman who had a rather limited command of English, making our conversation quite difficult to follow. When I inquired about his location, I could have sworn he mentioned Islamabad. It was all a bit confusing, to say the least!

A gentleman with what seemed to be an Asian accent rang me up, purporting to be from Currys or PC World, trying to pitch a deal on a mobile phone. I have a hunch this is dodgy business.

This is definitely not affiliated with EE; it’s nothing short of a blatant con! As an EE subscriber myself, with a proper contract in place, I was appalled to find these fraudsters clueless about whether I even had an account or what my name was!

I received a call purporting to be from the 3 mobile network, where an Asian lady with a thick accent was offering me a complimentary iPhone upgrade. When I realised it was a scam and challenged her, she began to get quite aggressive. I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.

Trying to get a claim sorted with Sky TV was an absolute nightmare! When I asked the simplest of questions, like asking for my name, they just wouldn't engage. The call ended abruptly, and it seems I’ve now been blocked. Interestingly, the number is from Daventry. The caller insisted they were phoning from Sky's headquarters in Glasgow, Scotland. Quite the experience!

Received a dubious call from a woman of Asian descent claiming to be from an energy efficiency programme. It definitely felt like a scam to me.

I received a call from a woman who had quite a heavy accent, claiming to be from Currys. Unfortunately, I couldn't make out a single word after that. It seemed like she was trying to get me to verify my card details. I explained that I was struggling to understand her and promptly hung up. It definitely gave off scam vibes!
