Got a call from someone claiming to be Edward, said he was from some investigation firm looking into mis-sold timeshares and how to claim compensation. Seemed like he knew quite a bit about our timeshare. Felt a bit dodgy, like just another company trying to milk compensation claims. He rang me twice initially, then a few days later rang 3 more times, but this time he gave the name Jonathan Heart. Decided to just block the number after that.

I keep getting calls from this number saying they’re some kinda legal service and that I’m on a timeshare list or something. My advice? Don’t give out any info, not even your name. It sounds like they’re trying to trick you into paying yearly fees, even if you don’t own the timeshare anymore. If no one’s around to answer, just hang up straight away and block the number. They’re definitely dodgy. Been getting calls all week from different numbers, places like Daventry and Brighton. Avoid them!

On Bank Holiday Monday, some bloke rang me up and was really rude from the get go. He claimed to be from the TPS (telephone preference service) and said our number gets loads of spam calls. Honestly, the cheek of it! When I questioned why he’d bother ringing on a bank holiday, he got all defensive with me. Not a great experience at all.
