I've received no fewer than five calls today purporting to be from Amazon, claiming I’d placed an order for a £1,259 iPhone 12 Pro. They insisted it was under investigation for fraudulent activity and prompted me to press 1 to connect or 2 for the authorities. Not a chance, I won’t be falling for that!

Received a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, they disconnected. I've since blocked it. It's utterly maddening that these fraudsters have the nerve to ring us and even more concerning that they might have access to our personal details. This behaviour is unacceptable, and I intend to notify the relevant authorities about it.

I’ve just had a rather alarming call from the number 01351697438, claiming that £600 had been withdrawn from my account without my consent a mere quarter of an hour ago. They instructed me to press 1 to address the issue. Quite concerning, isn’t it?

I've no clue who was calling, as there was no identification displayed. The phone rang a handful of times but it felt like some automated service. I've decided to block the number, and it appears to have done the trick. That suggests the number might be legitimate after all.

I just received a phone call inquiring about my eligibility for energy conservation grants. I firmly told the caller that I believed it was a scam and promptly ended the conversation. The lady insisted she ‘wasn’t trying to sell me anything’, but I can’t help but feel she was being dishonest.
