I got this robo call claiming it was from BT, saying my internet service would be cut off soon. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. Curiosity got the better of me, so I called the number they gave me. Weirdly, someone picked up right away - no endless hold music or anything! The guy said his name was Peter and had quite a strong Indian accent. He then went on about needing to run some security checks. That’s when I cheekily told him we should forget the security and just have a bit of fun and maybe go travelling instead.
