Sounds like a total scam to me. They say they’re from Halifax but it doesn’t add up at all. Best to just ignore and not pick up!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Halifax. I called Halifax directly to check and they told me they wouldn’t be calling me like that. The caller kept trying to ring me back over and over while I was trying to sort it out, so in the end I just blocked the number. Halifax confirmed they hadn’t called me, so I reckon it was a scam. Be careful and don’t share your info!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Halifax. However, when I reached out to Halifax directly, they assured me that they hadn't made any calls, suggesting it might be an elaborate scam. They advised me not to share any personal details. Apparently, they don't make unsolicited calls like that either!
