Got a call from some foreign dude saying my internet was all messed up, total nonsense if you ask me. These scammers are seriously dodgy people. Best thing is to just tell them to bugger off and not listen to any of their rubbish.

I wasnt home when they tried ringing me so I didnt pick up. Lately, I've been looking up every unfamiliar number online since scammers seem to be changing their tactics alot. I’ve had these types of calls before, so now I either just let it ring out or if I do pick up, I quickly end the call.

Just like lots of people here, I asked them to tell me my name and they said a ladies name! I’m definitely a bloke. Then when I asked for my address, they got it totally wrong. This has to be some sort of scam. Plus, I only got this number a couple days back, so how on earth did they find it?

Got a call from 01326 312387 today, 10 Jan 19, around 10 in the morning. Left a voicemail with a robotic American lady telling me they needed to update my ISP address and router, said it was free, and told me to press 1 to speak to a technician. I'd never been called by this number before so it felt dodgy, probably a new scam. We're on the TPS list too, so technically they shouldn't be ringing us. Plus, we’re ex-directory. Obviously, I ignored the message and didn't press anything.

So this bloke called Martyn Day rings me up, right? He starts whining that if I don’t send him 1000 quid, he’s gonna have a proper meltdown. Absolute scumbag if you ask me. I told him I hope he gets cancer and dies a slow, messy death bleeding all over the place. I swear I’ve heard of this loser before. Hanging the bastard wouldn’t even be enough punishment.

Got a call from some American lady’s automated voice saying my internet might get cut in less than two days because the provider’s been hacked. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call at 9 in the morning from 1326 312 387, some American lady’s recorded voice said my ISP address was hacked from multiple countries. She said to press one to chat with a tech about a new router and address. I thought it was a scam so I just hung up straight away.

Got a voicemail saying something like "This is your broadband provider warning you that your internet will be cut off within a day due to a security issue. Press 1 now to talk to tech support and fix it." I was curious so I gave them a ring back. The bloke on the end wanted me to download some app called DeskRoll, which lets them access your computer remotely through your browser. Honestly, watch out folks. These scammers use really nasty tricks trying to spook you into giving them access. Proper dodgy behaviour.
