On the 3rd of July around half past eleven, I got a call from this number claiming to be from BT. The caller, who spoke with an Indian accent, told me they were going to cut off my internet because apparently someone in California was using my account for hacking. They didn’t give me any solid details, which felt dodgy, so I thought maybe it was a trick to keep me on the line for a premium charge. I ended the call. Later, I got in touch with BT myself and found out everything with my internet and account was perfectly fine.

On the 3rd of July around half eleven, I got a call from this number. It was an automated message saying it was from BT, warning me that our internet would be cut off within a day. When I pressed 1, a lady with an Indian accent came on, saying they were tracking someone in California who’d been using internet accounts to hack others. It didn’t sound right at all, so I just hung up straight away.
