On the 3rd of July around half past eleven, I got a call from this number claiming to be from BT. The caller, who spoke with an Indian accent, told me they were going to cut off my internet because apparently someone in California was using my account for hacking. They didn’t give me any solid details, which felt dodgy, so I thought maybe it was a trick to keep me on the line for a premium charge. I ended the call. Later, I got in touch with BT myself and found out everything with my internet and account was perfectly fine.

On the 3rd of July at around half eleven, I got a call from this number. An automated voice claiming to be from BT informed me that our internet service was about to be cut off in a day. When I pressed 1, I was put through to a lady with an Indian accent who mentioned they were tracking someone from California allegedly misusing people's internet accounts for hacking purposes. The whole situation felt rather suspicious, so I decided to hang up.
