On Thursday 6th December 2018, I got a voicemail from someone with a foreign accent saying my phone line was gonna be cut off today due to some issue with a California exchange. They told me to press a button for BT support and another option for a different provider. It sounded dodgy to me, like a scam. I didn’t bother calling back.
