Today, I received a phone call on my landline from a chap with a strong Indian accent. He claimed that there was a significant issue with my broadband service and identified himself as a technician from BT, offering his assistance. However, it quickly became apparent that he wasn't who he said he was; he was in fact trying to scam me and gain access to my personal information!
