Got a call on my UK landline the other day from a woman with an Indian accent, saying she was from Virgin Media's tech support. She told me there were issues with my internet. Honestly, seemed like one of those scams trying to steal your computer info or ID. Definitely didn’t trust it.

Got a call from a lady who sounded like she had an Indian or Pakistani accent. She said she was from Virgin Media and that my internet was running slow, so they wanted to send someone out to fix it. First, she asked me to go to speedtest.net to check the speed. When I pointed out that the site didn’t have a secure https connection, she got annoyed and told me I was wasting her time before hanging up. This happened here in Nottingham.

So, this person called me claiming to be from Sky, right? When I asked if it was some kind of scam, she just started yelling at me to shut up and then abruptly ended the call. Proper rude behaviour!

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who said she was from BT. She mentioned there had been some issues with my internet and asked if I’d experienced any interruptions. I told her everything seemed fine and then she just hung up. I’m definitely not a BT customer, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

I recently received a call from someone purporting to be from our internet service provider, Sky. They asked me for my username and password. Can you believe it? The sheer audacity! Firstly, I don’t even have an account with Sky. Secondly, it was glaringly evident that this was nothing but a scam. Stay vigilant, everyone!

Someone just rang me pretending they were from Sky. Reckon it was a scam or something dodgy, so I didn’t bother giving them any info. Feels like these calls are getting more frequent nowadays!
