Seems like their contact list might come from "Perfect Preferences", but either way, they blatantly disregard the TPS register. So these cold calls they keep making are against the law.

Had a call this morning 18th August around 9:45 from these lot. They wanted to speak to me, then got my husband on the line asking if we’d done any industrial jobs. The noise in the background was crazy loud and the bloke was really impolite, just hanging up on me. After seeing what others have said here, I really hope they don’t bother ringing again.

Got a call from this number on 14th August just after half past 11 in the morning. The person on the line said her name was Amy and she wanted to check if I had ever been employed at a factory. I told her that I hadn’t and also mentioned I’m signed up with the Do Not Call list. She immediately turned quite rude and just ended the call. I attempted to call back to make a complaint but the signal was dead and I couldn’t get through!

Got a call around 1.30pm on the 14th of October, 2014 from someone claiming to be a medical firm about a job in a factory setting. I told them I’ve never worked in a factory before. They said they got my info from someone else, but I’m listed in the directory. Then they just cut me off. I tried ringing them back but all I got was a busy signal, so I had a look on here to see what was up.

I got a few calls from this number back in August 2014, a woman with a Northern accent told me they were situated in Manchester. She said my name appeared on some sort of industrial register because I might’ve worked in a sector involving heavy machinery or loud equipment. She went on about new laws after the miners' strike affecting other industries, which meant I could be entitled to compensation. Then she asked about my hearing, if my old employers provided ear protection and mentioned they’d be near me soon to arrange a hearing check-up. Apparently, they’d send a pack out explaining everything, but only after I booked an appointment. The whole thing smelt fishy, like some sort of claims pitch, so I just declined, hung up and blocked the number. Nothing’s ever free, right?
